This site provides links to many available summer programs across the nation. In most cases, application deadlines are in February or early March and require transcripts, two letters of recommendation from faculty, and a completed application. Winthrop chemistry students have participated in all of these programs.

Department of Energy Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI (formerly ERULF) are designed to provide educational training and research experiences at Department of Energy (DOE) Laboratories for highly motivated, undergraduate students. Appointments are available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. UndergraduateFellowships in Nuclear Chemistry & Radiochemistry : The Division of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology of the American Chemical Society sponsors summer schools in nuclear and radiochemistry funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
