Jacob Bradford, a junior chemistry major, obtained a summer position with EKA Chemicals, a division of Akzo Nobel  to overse the installation of a new paper chemical process at Bowater Corporation.

Ashley Fowler, a senior chemistry major, obtained a summer position in a large OB/GYN practice in Spartanburg; Ashley is entering medical school at USC in fall 1999.

Laura Hawkins, a junior chemistry major obtained a pharmacy position involving the preparation of IV solutions at Presbyterian Hospital's regional facility in Charlotte.

Kelly Holloway, a sophomore chemistry minor, obtained a summer internship position at the Egleston Children's Hospital at Emory University Medical School, to work in the pediatric oncology department

Stephanie Koester, a sophomore chemistry major, obtained a position with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.

Faith Roberts, a sophomore chemistry major, obtained a position with Atotech Corporation, an international manufacturer of electroplating chemicals headquartered in Rock Hill, to work in the Analytical Services Division.

Jason Simmons, a junior chemistry major, obtained a position with Harrell Industries in Rock Hill to work in the Analysis Laboratory.

Robin Steffensen, a junior majoring in chemistry, obtained a position with Atotech Corporation, an international manufacturer of electroplating chemicals headquartered in Rock Hill, to work in the Research Division.
