I. Sum of Squares Worksheet Using Cadmium Calibration Data

Using the data from the cadmiun calibration testing, complete this spreadsheet as follows:

1. Set up a LINEST block and clearly label what each calculated value represents
2. Use the LINEST data to complete the column for predicted absorbances
3. Calculate the residuals
4. For each concentration tested, calculate the mean of the replicates for that concentration
5. Calculate the residuals for each data point from its mean replicate at that concentration
6. Calculate the mean of the Absorbance data
7. Set up Mean-Centered Absorbance and Mean-Centered Predicted Absorbance columns
