Exams and Grading: |

for some reason something extra is added or something does not
take place, the point scale will be adjusted accordingly. |
Attendance: |
You are expected to attend all class meetings. You are responsible for all material covered in class and in the assigned reading/homework, as well as for all announcements made in class. This includes changes in the exam or quiz schedule. Absence or lateness does not excuse you from this responsibility. |
Homework: |
You are expected to complete each reading assignment and assigned homework problems, as listed in the syllabus. Working these problems is necessary to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. Most quiz questions will come from the homework assignments. |
Communication: |
If you have any questions, please stop by and see me during office hours. If these hours are not convenient, see me in class or e-mail me to set up an appointment. |
Lab: |
CHEM 106 has one co-requisite CHEM 108. You must be registered for both courses, unless previous credit has been given. If you decide to drop CHEM 106, you must also drop CHEM 108 and vice-versa. |
Course Withdrawal: |
October 23 -- Last day to withdraw from a Fall semester course. (Automatic N grade is issued.) Students may not withdraw from a course after this date without documented extenuating circumstances. |
