Chemistry and Biochemistry graduates are in high demand in a large number of professions. A major part of the U.S. economy is centered on industries that use chemistry, biochemistry, and chemical processes. 50% of all industrial research and development positions are filled by professionals with a chemistry, biochemistry, or a chemical engineering background. Chemists represent the largest group of scientists employed by the three major US automakers. |
